I obtained a set of ten of these coin storage cases and couldn’t be happier. As advertised, these storage cases allow the interior to be removed via the vacuum pump, ensuring an airtight seal. (I am taking the manufacturer’s word on this because I don’t have the facilities to test the claim.) Of course, if the storage device is airtight, then it is also watertight. (I recommend watching the manufacturer’s video to see just how to achieve a good vacuum seal.) Opening the case for coin insertion requires either a dime-sized coin or, better, a flat-blade screwdriver inserted into the slot located at the ends of the case and a slight twisting operation. This method of opening the case is necessary because the two sides of the case fit very tightly to ensure an airtight seal.
Do I have any “negative” comments despite giving this item five stars? Not really, although I would like to see the cases come in variable sizes depending on the size of the coin to be protected. That said, my overall is that if you care about the value of your collector coins, then you need these cases.

Yes, I absolutely recommend this company. Today I was lucky enough to meet the owners of this amazing company & they, in turn, introduced me to their incredible invention which, I believe, is officially known as the “Vacuum Sealed Coin Storage Device.” The interesting thing about it is that it’s actually a relatively simple device (along the lines of “Why didn’t I think of that myself?”) but it’s brilliant nonetheless because even though it’s fairly mechanically simple it also does exactly what it’s supposed to do & is, therefore, both useful & desirable to people who have a need for such things, as I do. It’s a great invention, check it out.
